REVIEW || VEET Ready To Use Wax Strips

Yay! Two posts for today! It's really because I forgot to post one yesterday and trust me, I had one planned yesterday, but I haven't been sleeping much lately, so I fell asleep early and forgot all about my one post a day thing. Two today to make up for it. And since it's almost summer, (summer doesn't start until friday the 21st) this post will be about the VEET Ready To Use Wax Strips :)
I got these strips last summer, and I finished them up around the end of March. I just realized that I never took a picture of the box and its contents, but I do have a video review and demo on this, so here you go!
Anyway, these strips are awesome. They just require so much patience, that's why it took me so long to finish them. Either way, I'm very satisfied and I will repurchase them again this summer. The results last for about 2 weeks on me before I start noticing hair growing back again. It used to be a week but it has improved the more I did it. I also noticed that my leg hairs have been growing back thinner. I've read about it but I thought it would be ineffective on me. But it ended up thinning my hair, which is awesome.
Here's a before a before and after. Hopefully, I don't need to classify which is before and which is after lol.
Lol. I feel like my before picture in the one above makes my leg look so manly. Anyway, the picture below, I love to look at how much hair I've captured after waxing. I find it fascinating and really cool to look at.
I know I have skinny legs. Lol. Anyway, the right side is the side that is waxed if you couldn't tell. But those dots are not from waxing, they are a result of shaving. When I was in the 7th grade, I saw a girl who had a bunch of these on her legs and thought that I would never get them. About 3 years later, I started noticing them and boy, oh boy, how I would love to get rid of them. I think they just look so gross.
Also, I advice you to not, I repeat, DO NOT USE FRAGRANT LOTIONS AFTER WAXING!!! I did and got a nasty rash all over. Lesson learned the harder way. It was so irritating and all I wanted to do was scratch my legs because they were so dang itchy! Use aloe vera and I would avoid using lotion right after. I would probably wait 24 hours before moisturizing.
One last note: I only use 4-5 strips on each leg. I cut strips in half because it's easier. Also, keep in mind that 2 strips are stuck to each other. I've only used this on the legs and I tried the bikini area and man did that hurt! Try it at your own risk!

I hope this helps! Leave your questions and I will be sure to answer them.

My ELF Brushes

Hello! Back when I posted my "Huge ELF Haul" video on youtube, I got requests on doing reviews on everything I own. I think my favorite review was the one I did on the brushes. I love brushes. I think it's because I use them every time I do my makeup that I have grown to love buying them and doing deep research on them. I'm crazy.
Since ELF Brushes are so cheap, I do have quite a few of them and I also have 1 double brush. As in there is one specific brush that I love enough to have two of.
The picture below is accurate as to which ones I use the most and are some of my favorites. The mineral powder brush is incredible for blush and contouring. I find myself reaching for it to apply my liquid foundation recently. The Flawless Concealer Brush is phenomenal. I use this on a daily basis. It's so densely packed and it applies concealer so well, whether it be under the eyes or just plain old spot concealing. The ELF Small Stipple brush is heaven in a brush. I use it for liquid foundation, powder/cream blush and bronzer, powder/cream highlighter, concealer, you must try this brush out. It is amazing and for the price, you really cannot beat that! The Angled Blush Brush, I find this brush awesome for sheer blushes because it makes it easier to build color up, and it's also great for blending very pigmented blushes out. Since it's so densely packed as well, I find it works well for liquid foundation and cream blushes. It's also amazing for contouring. Finally, the Powder brush is the brush I have two of. I just reach for this so much and it's amazing. As an avid user of powder, and powder foundation, or just any type of powder product for the face, this is a must have for me. It is great for applying any formula of foundation, it blends so nicely, and you may probably already own this. Lol.
Overall, the ELF Brushes are way beyond what anyone can expect from cheap brushes. Especially the brushes in their studio line. They are so soft, they rarely shed. I have had a problem with the ferrule separating due to the glue that was used to put them together. I just glued them back on with my own super glue and it hasn't come off since. This only happened with two of three of the brushes I own. I didn't go over all of the brushes, but if you want to know which ones I own and what I think of them, feel free to watch my video about these :)

What are your favorite ELF Brushes?

Red & Nude Drugstore Lipsticks

Hello fellow homo sapiens! In this post, I wanted to share with you the top red and nude drugstore lipstick that I would highly recommend, especially if you are new to makeup. Why no hot pink? I may just dedicate a whole post about my favorite hot pink lip products ;) Although, I'm pretty sure anyone who might read this will be someone who already knows a lot about makeup, I thought it would be fun to share something that isn't a review :)
Milani Nude Creme - I just did a review on this recently. Gorgeous peachy nude. It's awesome. Smells great. The smell is quite strong. While, I was taking the picture below, all I could smell was the sweet scent of this lipstick. I think those who are looking for a nude color that would not wash them out would adore this shade.
NYC Sheer Red - Mine is pretty beat up. I think I need a new one. I've been using this for years! It was the best red lipstick I used for dancing competitions back in high school. Despite its name, it's not necessarily sheer, although it can be easily sheered out. It also doesn't stain as dramatically as most red lipsticks do. It's perfect for those who are starting out to play with red lipsticks, or if you want a red drugstore lipstick, this one is the one I recommend.
Covergirl Hot - This is also another discovery from my high school days. During a performance, someone was doing my makeup and red lipstick was necessary. This is what was used on me, and I was so impressed considering I was never a fan of Covergirl makeup. The thing I loved most about this one is that it stained my lips. It stained my lips for quite a long time and some may find that a deal breaker but not for me. I love waking up like a yellow asian snow white :) It glides so smoothly on the lips and it's awesome for a pin-up look.
Revlon Mauve it Over - This was my MLBB color a couple of years ago, and although it's not anymore, it still holds a special place in my heart. I love that this is matte, but it does not dry out my lips in the slightest. I recommend this shade for everyone. I believe it will suit all skin tones and you may just find yourself using it everyday. Run to the store and check these out. Revlon hardly fails me with their lipsticks. Not only do I recommend this shade, but I recommend checking out their whole matte lipstick line. There's something in there for everyone.
I hope you enjoyed this post. It was different for me. Have you tried these out? Any recommendations for me? I love lipsticks especially if they are less than $10 ;D

Until Next Time,
-Justine
